ETS Essential Skills Provision
Here at Engineering Training Services we are always looking at ways to further improve and enhance the service and quality of our Apprenticeship Programme.
As a result of this we have now introduced our own in-house Essential Skills Provision for Literacy, Numeracy and ICT and as of September 2010 this will be rolled out to all new Apprentices requiring Essential Skills as part of their Apprenticeship Framework.
The main advantages of this provision will include:-
- Fully flexible delivery options to meet the needs of employers (this can include one-to-one delivery onsite or group based fast-track courses)
- We have a ‘register’ of tutors who can travel across Northern Ireland as required
- All delivery materials and assignment templates have been contextualised specifically for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- All ETS essential skills contextualised assignment templates have been approved by the awarding body CCEA
If you have any queries or would like further information on our Essential Skills provision you may wish to contact our Essential Skills Co-Ordinator Ryan Connor.
