For a limited time only ETC Awards has gained accreditation to award the Level 2 NVQ in Electrical and Electronic Servicing.
Available to Centres immediately, the registration end date is the 31st December 2010 with the certificate issue end date following two years later on the 31st December 2012.
The primary objective of this Level 2 NVQ in Electrical and Electronic Servicing is to contribute to the development of a skilled workforce as a whole. Working within the general area of Signal Reception, Consumer/Commercial Electronics and Domestic Appliance Servicing, this Level 2 qualification seeks to recognise the practical competence and working knowledge of those experienced individuals who wish to obtain a nationally recognised qualification measured against National Occupational Standards.
The qualification is structured with a range of mandatory and optional units that, when matched against normal work activity, can provide the required evidence that describes that practical skills and knowledge of:
Signal Reception
Consumer/Commercial Electronics, and
Domestic Appliance Servicing.
There is no entry requirement or age restriction for this qualification. The qualification is open to any candidate who has the potential to meet the requirements for the qualification.
