What Do Engineers Do? People who work in Engineering do all kinds of jobs. Some are at the designing end of the job (this work tends to be carried out on highly technical computers) while others are well and truly 'hands-on', making products with their hands. Then there are other people who make business decisions or who carry out research into new ways of designing and making things.
